What inspired you to become a musician?
Always loved making music and was good at it from a young age. But I went to a big youth concert at 14 and was blow away. I caught the vision of what life music could be. I was hooked!

Who is your favourite/inspiring artist and why?
I am always inspired by the melodies and lyrics of Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam is my favourite band). No lyric is wasted, and he always has something poignant to say. His melodies are beautiful and every time I listen I’m inspired to be a better writer and artist.

Pearl Jam, John Mayer, Muse.

First concert that made the biggest impression?
Hillsong Youth, Final Countdown, Dec 2000.

Most amazing gig moment you’ve had?
Performing to 10,000 ppl at an outdoor concert in the USA.

Most embarrassing gig moment you’ve had?
Chest bumping a man much larger than myself mid-song, falling backward and landing flat on my back while he just shrugged it off. I mean, I went flying and I don’t think he even noticed. What made it worse was a tried to get up in one move by kicking my legs up and under me like a ninja. In the heat of the moment I forgot that I don’t know how to do that. Needless to say, I just ended up flipping about like a fish for a few extra seconds before I rolled over and picked myself up , sheepishly.

What are you working on at the moment?A sci-fi, time travel novel.

What is the career milestone you have reached so far that got you really excited?
