Hudson Rose – The Story So Far
The story of Hudson Rose starts with a girl, a guitar and a dream.
It was Christmas 2016 when Hudson was given her first guitar, a mini Maton and just three weeks later, in January 2017 she set off for her first Tamworth Country Music Festival. It was at this festival, combined with a trip to see Keith Urban in concert, that she was hooked and set herself a dream of becoming a country music artist.
With well received performances under her belt at Tamworth Country Music Festival, including being announced as one of the Top 10 Buskers and attending the Junior Country Music Academy in 2019, Hudson returned in 2020, gracing the stage for 14 performances including opening for Homegrown, the HSF Artist Showcase, the Junior Academy Showcase and sharing the stage with Amber Lawrence.
Throughout 2020/2021 Hudson worked to broaden her skills to include graphic design, photography and at home production and recording techniques.
For five years Hudson has been gigging up and down NSW’s Mid North Coast, leaving audiences captivated by her strong vocals and emotive & engaging performances of covers with some originals thrown in.
Hudson has been in the studio recording tracks for an EP to be released later in the year and she’s excited to share her country pop sound she has been developing.
There is something distinctly refreshing about Hudson Rose’s gift of storytelling. Together with a vibrant, down to earth personality, unquestionable star quality and at just 20, Hudson Rose is an impressive new voice on the country music scene in Australia and one to watch as her story unfolds.
