I just wanted to take a moment to pass on some really positive feedback about Lucas Menzie’s performance at The Corner in Charlestown Square. He did an absolutely fantastic job entertaining the crowd and creating such a great atmosphere.
Lucas’s set was engaging, well-paced, and showcased his strong musicianship and genuine stage presence. He interacted warmly with the audience, and his mix of song choices really suited the vibe of the venue. It was clear that he put a lot of care into his performance, and people around were really enjoying it, you could see plenty of smiles and people stopping to listen.
It’s always great seeing local talent represented so well, and Lucas definitely stood out as a highlight of the event.

Lucas Menzies is one of the most talented artists I have ever seen. Not just due to his vocals and arrangements but the way he is able to take something basic and turn it into something special. He played our wedding, his first, and he was incredible. The songs we asked to play he did perfectly. He made them better than we could expect. He created excitement and energy, knew when to just be in the background and made the crowd come alive when needed. His range of songs is enormous and catered to our vast array of guests. To top it off he is A beautiful human. I would recommend Lucas to anyone no matter what the occasion. Thank you Lucas!

We had Lucas play at my husband’s birthday, and he was the perfect choice. His sound is incredible—polished but still relaxed—and he created such a great vibe for the whole party. He’s friendly and engaging, and his acoustic set covered a wide variety of music, so there was something for everyone.
We definitely feel like we found a hidden gem—our guests are still raving about him! We’ll definitely have him back for another function… although part of me selfishly hopes we can keep this Newcastle gem to ourselves just a little longer.
