He has supported acclaimed Australian artist Alex Lloyd at shows in Dungog and at The Stag & Hunter, and has performed at the Tamworth Country Music Festival two years in a row, further cementing his reputation as a reliable and engaging live performer.

Lucas was fantastic from start to finish. Although there was no time to learn the special requests I’d arranged with the other musician, Lucas read the room perfectly and seemed to instinctively know exactly what songs to play to get the party started and keep the energy going throughout the night. Not only is Lucas a talented musician, but he was also polite, friendly and genuinely engaging with guests between sets.Several of my guests commented on how great he was and how much they enjoyed the music. His professionalism, flexibility and ability to create such a fun atmosphere turned what could have been a disaster into a memorable celebration.

Lucas Menzies is one of the most talented artists I have ever seen. Not just due to his vocals and arrangements but the way he is able to take something basic and turn it into something special. He played our wedding, his first, and he was incredible. The songs we asked to play he did perfectly. He made them better than we could expect. He created excitement and energy, knew when to just be in the background and made the crowd come alive when needed. His range of songs is enormous and catered to our vast array of guests. To top it off he is A beautiful human. I would recommend Lucas to anyone no matter what the occasion. Thank you Lucas!

We had Lucas play at my husband’s birthday, and he was the perfect choice. His sound is incredible—polished but still relaxed—and he created such a great vibe for the whole party. He’s friendly and engaging, and his acoustic set covered a wide variety of music, so there was something for everyone.We definitely feel like we found a hidden gem—our guests are still raving about him! We’ll definitely have him back for another function… although part of me selfishly hopes we can keep this Newcastle gem to ourselves just a little longer.

I just wanted to take a moment to pass on some really positive feedback about Lucas Menzie’s performance at The Corner in Charlestown Square. He did an absolutely fantastic job entertaining the crowd and creating such a great atmosphere. Lucas’s set was engaging, well-paced, and showcased his strong musicianship and genuine stage presence. He interacted warmly with the audience, and his mix of song choices really suited the vibe of the venue. It was clear that he put a lot of care into his performance, and people around were really enjoying it, you could see plenty of smiles and people stopping to listen. It’s always great seeing local talent represented so well, and Lucas definitely stood out as a highlight of the event. Please pass along my compliments to him, and thank you to EAO Entertainment for organising and supporting such quality live performances in the community.
