Meet Pete
Pete’s style and performance philosophy is based on creating a fun atmosphere, encouraging crowd interaction and playing popular hits that are well known and well loved. His gigs are very much an organic, acoustic affair featuring acoustic guitar, vocals, harmonica, loop machine and stomp box for creating an upbeat party/dance vibe!
Pete’s performance history includes six solid years working in an acoustic duo with fellow guitarist/vocalist Jeremy White around the Port Macquarie, Byron Bay and Tween Coast areas.
They were in high demand, performing regularly at many of the region’s prestigious venues including The Beach Hotel Byron Bay, Hotel Brunswick, Salt at Kingscliffe, Macquarie Hotel Port Macquarie, to name just a few. Pete is now focusing on solo work in the Hunter region, and is gaining popularity as a fun and engaging soloist, for both hotels/clubs and private/corporate functions.
Pete’s sound is very crisp, tight, dynamic and uncluttered. His repertoire is diverse, with something for everyone from the latest hits to the classics! Pete’s versatility and experience enables him to create just the right atmosphere for all occasions. If you love acoustic pop like Crowded House, Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, Ben Harper and Bernard Fanning – Pete’s your man for the job!

Port Waratah Coal Services Awards Night – October 2018
Pete G is a great artist! This is the 2nd year we have used him and will happily keep booking him. He is very professional ( arrives more than 2 hours before to get set-up) and he is such a talented and easy musician. He appeals to all generations with an awesome voice, varied music selection and a pleasure to listen to. Pete created a great mood as he played music whilst people were having dinner and then getting people up and dancing afterwards – “cracker of an evening” . Thanks Peter for joining us once again and helping us celebrate.
