Newcastle-based muso Cass Eleven is a prolific songwriter, singer and multi-instrumentalist. She began playing at a young age and has performed with ensembles from orchestras to ska bands, at venues from the Sydney Opera House to Splendour in the Grass, on the bill with acts including Xavier Rudd, Jon English and Reel Big Fish. Her live solo act features layers of vocals, beatbox, flute, saxophone, and guitar with all-live looping and generous doses of improvisation. She blends soulful jazz, Latin, blues, reggae, folk, funk and hip hop influences to create a feel-good, groove-oriented style and energy.
