#RO551…..is emerging from the year-long shut down of live music with some familiar faces, some very familiar faces and some new blood. The idea is to not cling on to the past but to start anew and evolve as the music world opens up again. Experience and a proven track record has shown that a dedication to providing a consistent performance visually and aurally is the reason why live music fans stay for the night and return home having enjoyed their escape from the mundane.
DARIO ROSSI (Lead Vocals, Guitar)….is the aforementioned ‘very familiar’. He brings a vocal quality, an infectious personality and a great perceptiveness to the band. His energy on stage is infectious and worthy of the ‘frontman’ title. With every performance you will see a sense of what is right for the occasion as he reads the crowd and this will contribute noticeably to forging a reputation of giving the people what they want, when they want it.
SERGIO ROSSI. (Keyboards, Vocals)…..is another link in the ‘very familiar’ chain. He brings to the stage a vibrancy and formidable musical capacity that injects texture into songs of all genres, including special effects that enhance every performance. His extensive keyboard collection, including a keytar in every colour imaginable, adds great depth to the group’s overall sound.
HEATH SKETCHLEY. (Bass Guitar, Vocals)…..now we are in ‘familiar’ territory. A skilled practitioner on 4 or 5 strings, equipped with an armoury of bass guitars and amp rigs to suit any venue. There is nothing ‘plain-jane’ about our bass man. You’ll ‘feel it’ when he locks in the groove with our freshly appointed rhythm man.
MARK PASCOE. (Lead Guitar, Vocals)…..some more ‘familiar’ territory, right here. A work in progress, he sees himself as a rhythm guitarist who is continually developing and consolidating his lead guitar skills. He has a passion for adding a layer to the main vocals with a natural ear for harmonies.
#RO551…..is aiming to give live music lovers what they have been missing for quite a while now – from nostalgic songs of the past, to the tunes of ‘not so long ago’, and dare we say it, to including tracks from even more recent years. You can sit back and simply enjoy listening to the variety of genres, or follow your instincts and jump on the dance floor and rock the night away. A very extensive repertoire is sure to please. So, come along, and let’s re-ignite some history, create some new-history and have a damn good night out at the same time!
