Meet RO551
RO551 has emerged from the shutdown of live music with a renewed sense of purpose, blending familiar faces with fresh energy. Rather than dwelling on the past, the band is focused on evolving with the times, delivering a consistent, high-quality live show that keeps audiences engaged from start to finish. With a strong track record and a clear understanding of what live music fans want, #RO551 is all about creating an experience that feels like a true escape.
Frontman Dario Rossi (lead vocals, guitar) leads the charge with infectious energy, strong vocals and an instinctive ability to read a room. Alongside him, Sergio Rossi (keyboards, vocals) brings colour and depth to the band’s sound, layering textures and effects that elevate every performance. Together, they form a dynamic core that drives the band’s signature style.
The rhythm section is anchored by Troy Harper (bass, vocals), whose groove and precision keep the band tight and driving, while Peter Stef (drums), a seasoned Newcastle musician with over 40 years’ experience, delivers a reliable and professional backbone. On lead guitar, Mark Pascoe adds melodic layers and harmonies, continually refining his craft and contributing to the band’s full, well-rounded sound.
With a diverse repertoire spanning classic favourites, more recent hits and everything in between, #RO551 delivers a show that suits any crowd. Whether you’re there to sit back and enjoy or hit the dance floor, the band brings the energy, nostalgia and good times—reigniting memories while creating new ones every time they play.
