THE RUMOUR UNPLUGGED…
Step 1. Take a bunch of your favourite songs.
Step 2. Strip them back to tasty chords played by two amazing acoustic guitarists.
Step 3. Add some stellar emotive vocals and harmonies from two of Newcastle’s finest
singers
…and there you have it: The Rumour Unplugged.
Lee Rolfe and Ross Hadley provide the beautiful guitar playing, whilst The Rumour’s Karyn
Raftery and Marty Worrall bring the vocal magic. The band have been working hard
selecting songs and crafting arrangements that showcase both the beauty of the song
writing and the talent of the players. You’ll hear songs you love, rediscover forgotten gems,
and find new songs that will soon be added to your favourites list. Fleetwood Mac, Sia,
Crowded House, U2, Del Amitri, Bon Jovi, Linda Ronstadt, Olivia Newton John, Duran Duran
and Haim…just to name a few! The setlist is eclectic, nostalgic, fresh and fun. The Rumour
Unplugged will create a fantastic and relaxed vibe, whatever your musical tastes. With a
