Local rock n roll stalwart, singer/songwriter Ty Penshorn, launches his debut solo album “Carry the Blues” at Lizottes Sunday 27 January 2019 Australia Day Long weekend. As part of the Australia Day weekend celebrations, the evening will be filled with special guests performances and surprise guests.
Ty Penshorn experienced his first chart success with his band Little Hornet in which he released 5 albums and featured as lead singer, guitarist and songwriter.
Since then Ty released another 2 albums with his band The Humm and has non-stopped continued performing all over the world including stints in Dubai, India, Egypt, Thailand, Singapore, Cambodia, Canada and America.
Carry The Blues is Ty’s finest work to date with a diverse collection of rock, blues, pop and adult contemporary. Carry The Blues is melodic rock, big on harmonies, guitars & groove.
The album features the local talents of Natalie Austin, Dane Baldwin, Dave Carter, Kimme Ewart, Pamela Gully, Mark Hoppe, Ric McCann, Nick Raschke, Marissa Saroca, Jason Tyler & Holly Wilson in which most will appear for the concert.
Copies of the album will be included with ticket purchase and additional copies available on the night on CD, vinyl and limited edition orange vinyl.
